On Wednesday 15th September the Year 6 students presented a Peoplescape display on the lawn outside the Library. Students were required to research about a chosen Australian person who has links to Catholic Social Justice and has influenced Australia in the way they view and handle these issues.
Each student presented a speech which could be viewed by scanning a QR code, as well as design, decorate and present a Peoplescape display that helped depict images of who their chosen person was. The Australian’s the students chose to display were: Cathy Freeman, Steve Irwin, Faith Bandler, Daniel Mannix, Edmund Barton, James Scullin, Patty Mills, Peter Garrett, Adam Goodes, Enid Lyons and Mary MacKillop.
When set up, the display looked amazing and all students should be proud of the work they presented.
